Dvd Recorders With Digital Tuner Obviously, A Different Experience. Do I Need To Buy A VCR/DVD Recorder With A Digital Tuner?

Do I need to buy a VCR/DVD recorder with a digital tuner? - dvd recorders with digital tuner obviously, a different experience.

I have a 22-inch LCD HDTV Vizio. Looking to buy a VCR / DVD recorder to go with him. I want to be able to copy from the TV recording to DVD and in a position from VHS to DVD. I looked at the store, and saw that you have digital tuners and some without. I have Comcast Digital Cable. Do I need a digital tuner or not with the? Thank you!

If all you want to do is record a program while watching TV, then you do not need a tuner in your DVD player / recorder if your TV has a video / audio output port.

A program other than the vision in your recorded TV or your TV does not have a video-audio output, then you have to buy a VCR / DVD tuner. A digital receiver is the tuner and DVD / VCR may allow the device to either a coaxial cable or video. When you connect a coaxial cable, then the DVD / VCR will need an NTSC tuner (analog). When you subscribe to basic cable without a decoder, you need a QAM tuner with the clean channel receive (uncoded), digital channels and NTSC tuner for analog channels. The ATSC (digital) tuner is required only if you subscribe to HD cable and coaxial cable used in a high-definition tuner with your new DVD / VCR.

To view or record on the VCR / DVD, then you need a tuner. Without a tuner, all you can do is watch a DVD or a DVD. It is good to a digital TV tuner, but I do not.
